     Randall “Randy” A. Gossen, 64, of Sturgeon Bay, died early Thursday morning, April 20, 2017 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.

     He was born February 16, 1953 in Green Bay, the son of the late Harvey and Geraldine (Planter) Gossen. Randy graduated high school in De Pere with the class of 1971. He served his country with the United States Marine Corps until his honorable discharge in 1978. On August 30, 1980, he married Catherine F. Noah in Sturgeon Bay.

     Randy was an expert welder and was employed with Bay Shipbuilding for over 35 years, retiring in 2015 due to ill health.

     He was a member of Faith Alive Fellowship in Sturgeon Bay. Randy enjoyed woodworking and was a true DIY (Do it yourselfer). He was also a member of The Brotherhood of Boilermakers Union Local 449.

     Survivors include his wife, Cathy; two children, Kevin Gossen, Heidi (Eric) Copiskey all of Sturgeon Bay; two grandchildren, Bryton, Zoey Copiskey; six siblings, Dick (Trong) of California, Bob (Jan) of Virginia Beach, VA, Ron of DePere, Ralph (Nancy) of De Pere, Russ (Jean) of Pulaski, Rosemary Westenberger of De Pere; and nieces and nephews.

     Randy was preceded in death by his parents; and granddaughter, Mollie.

     Funeral services with military honors will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Pastor Tim Kornowski, and Pastor Tom Terry officiating. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.

     Friends may call at Huehns Funeral Home on Sunday after 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.

     Memorials may be given for his family, or in his memory for Faith Alive Fellowship.
