Mark Richard Ewaskowitz

Mark Richard Ewaskowitz, 59, of Sturgeon Bay, died at his home on Friday, September 25, 2015, after a lengthy illness.

He was born April 18, 1956, in Sturgeon Bay, the son of the late Eugene and Sally (Woller) Ewaskowitz. Following his graduation from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1974, Mark went on to study architectural design at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. He went on to do construction work with his father, Gene, and two brothers, Tim and Andy. They built many beautiful homes in the Door County area, including his own. Mark then went on to smaller jobs, and later did finish carpentry as Mark Ewaskowitz Construction.

Mark loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley. Being a member of the Titans Motorcycle Club was a big part of his life. Mark was a good father, generous and always willing to lend a hand.

Survivors include his two children, Sarah Ewaskowitz, Dan Ewaskowitz, both of Sturgeon Bay; two grandchildren, Luke and Carter Bieri; and three siblings, Jeffrey Ewaskowitz of Sturgeon Bay, Andrew (Kelly) Ewaskowitz of Sister Bay, and Lori (Dr. Dave) Wargowski of Mount Horeb.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Timothy.

Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with a service of remembrance to be held at 7:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Shiloh Moravian Cemetery.
