Our Deepest sympathy to Bernadette and her family on Jim's passing. In a world full of pretentious people, Jim was the "real deal". Any time spent with him was quality time. I'm only sorry that he didn't get a chance to drive my Fiero. May God bless all.

My sincerest condolences to Jim's family and to what I'm sure is a large group of loving friends. I was thinking about what to say about Jim and I think it can be summed up in 3 words. He showed up. He was a guy who showed up for the good stuff, showed up for the bad stuff, who showed up for the happy stuff and also the sad stuff. You could depend on Jim and wherever he went, his heart went in the door first. I met Jim 19 years ago, and his smile and intensity made me an instant fan. He worked hard, played hard, loved hard and gave everything he had everyday. We could all learn a lesson from him as I'm pretty sure he never wasted a day wondering what he should do. He just showed up. RIP my friend.

Jim was the perfect Rotarian. He had a big heart and open wallet for any need in our club. His sense of "service above self" pervaded everything he did. When our club really needed him, he served as President for two years in a row. We are all so sad at his passing. Godspeed to you Jim.
